School Workshops with a difference!
Our unique Disability Equality School Workshops are specifically developed for secondary school students. All workshops are delivered by a person with a disability!
These fun and interactive workshops challenge students’ perception of disability and encourage discussion around accessibility in the built, technological and social environments. Through participation your students will gain the skills to assist a person with a disability when necessary.
Students will be asked to complete activities and challenges, encouraging learning through experience. Most importantly students will be asked to consider ways that the barriers faced by people with disabilities can be overcome.
These workshops are perfect for inclusion in the Transition Year and SPHE programs. Because our school disability equality workshops are tailored to age groups they are suitable for both primary school and secondary school students.
We travel to schools all over Ireland and dates fill up quickly.
